For the last million years we wear plain breeches, well maybe except for some patches on the knees or back. But in the latest collection of many equestrian apparel brands we see fashionable and sturdy prints.
Photos above show dot- and flower-printed breeches designed by the Italian brand Equiline. Check out their collection for more inspiration.
More from Italy; Accademia Italiana is well known for it’s trendsetting designs and this season they come up with some daring all over prints. We took a sneak peak and our favourite is the sand-grey contrast jods with some sort of stonewashed print! Awesome riding pants are the ‘Logo’ and ‘Cashmir’, dark blue with classy print all over. We saw a preview at Divoza Horseworld and hope the will be soon in store.
These colorful breeches from the Pikeur winter collection. Very fashionable full seat riding pants called ‘Badira’. Feasty, but still they keep you warm and protect from wind and rain. For more details on protective gear, read tips on proper riding clothes.
So are we looking at a trend in equestrian fashion? Obviously, it will be much easier for children to follow, beacuse they might have the courage to wear exotic, floral printed jodphurs.
Children riding breeches with a horse print. Very comfortable, cotton based jodphurs. Seen in The Saddleryshop.
Being cool and conservative most of us riders will keep wearing our single colour riding pants, but we see more and more elegant patterns available. In the fotoshoot of the latest Petrie collections we discovered these shiny printed breeches. The elegant up-laced boots are meant for dressage or in free time. Found on www.petrie.nl
